The mosque of Khawaja Djarak

History of construction

Destructions during the war

Unfortunately, the mosque, like many similar structures, the cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, suffered significantly during the fighting of the Balkan war, which lasted from 1992 to 1995.

After the end of the war, the mosque underwent a global reconstruction, it was restored, actually returning the original form, and later, in 2006, to the list of National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
