According to the structure, the Koneprus caves are divided into three tiers, each of which as a separate floor with its secrets.

Caves were found in 1951 by limestone quarry workers, and in 9 years were discovered not only for scientific research, but also for ordinary tourists. Archaeologists say that the indigenous population of this territory knew about caves several centuries ago. At the entrance at the very beginning of the caves (the first level) there is an obvious proof of this - the laboratory of counterfeiters of the 15th century. Some lucky tourists still find fake Hussite coins in the area.
