Sports shooting

Shooting sports is a special kind of sport in which participants compete in accuracy and accuracy of shooting from different types of guns. Some disciplines are included in the program of the Olympic Games, and at the same time are considered the oldest of the disciplines - for example, sports archery.

Traditionally, shooting is understood as a set of disciplines, each of which corresponds to the ability to handle a particular type of weapon. Today, sport shooting from a pistol and an air rifle is very popular - this is indicated by shooting galleries, which are often found in city parks.

Competitions in shooting are controlled by the International Federation of Sports Shooting (ISSF). Thanks to the support of a large organization, there is a possibility of financing, which is very important for the development and popularization of any kind of sport. Practical shooting, considered the youngest offshoot, is controlled by the International Confederation of Practical Shooting (English IPSC).

Training in sports shooting

Today there are dozens of sections in which people are taught to shoot. As a rule, they are successful both in adults and in children - it's true, usually they are boys, rather than girls.

One of the very popular areas is tactical shooting. During the training of all the trainees are taught methods of using weapons and various life conditions. As a rule, as a basis for training, the trainers take real combat and defensive situations.

Civilian firing programs are distinguished by a high level of studying the rules of self-defense and protection of loved ones. Proceeding from this, it can be said that in this section you get a skill that can help out in a difficult life situation. Such courses take children from 12 years and adults of almost any age. In the course of the classes, both practical and theoretical courses are taught, which teaches the culture of communication with weapons and personal safety rules.
