Scandinavian runes

Scandinavian runes are an ancient writing of the Germans and were used on the territory of Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Scandinavian mythology indicates that Odin heard the runes and drew his own blood with a spear on the World Tree. The word Runa means "whisper mysteriously" or "mystery," in connection with which they were attributed mystical properties.
