The variety was obtained as a result of crossing of two varieties - the pear "Lesnaya Krasava" and "Olga". The official registration of the "Chizhovskaya" pear occurred in 1993, now it is a very common variety in the Moscow, Vladimir and Samara regions.

The tree itself belongs to the stamping type, it is a medium layer. The height of the "Chizhovskaya" pear usually reaches 1.8 - 2.5 m. With gradual growth, the tree crown forms a conical or narrow pyramidal shape. The bark of the trunk of a pear and skeletal branches is light gray, and young shoots become red-brown in color. If we talk about the leaves of the pear variety "Chizhovskaya", then they are oval-elongated, elongated and smooth green. In spring, the tree is covered with white flowers, which are collected in the inflorescences of the cup-shaped six buds.
