Bellidans is an extraordinarily emotional and colorful spectacle, the brightness of which, undoubtedly, gives to the costume of the oriental dancer. If you are carried away by this kind of art, then the enchanting outfit will be required. Let's create an oriental costume with our own hands, especially since it's not so difficult.
Thinking about how to make an oriental costume, you can give vent to your imagination, because the variety of shapes, colors, ornaments is infinite. We'll work on the basic elements. It will take:
- the basic fabric;
- lining fabric;
- non-woven fabric;
- cotton cloth;
- bra;
- paper or cellophane for patterns;
- pins;
- thread;
- beads.
- Let's start with our own hands to create the costume of the oriental beauty from the bodice. For a basis we take cups of any bra which is pleasant on the form, we spend on it a line on the center and we pin with pins to this line a tracing-paper or cellophane. Now wrap the cup, so on cellophane two folds are formed-tarts - from above and from below. We circle all the lines with a felt-tip pen.
- Remove the cellophane and transfer the pattern to paper, dividing the center line. Cut and close darts, now we transfer to the fabric.
- Cut the details from the fabric and sew them in the center. We distribute the workpiece over the cup, bend the edges to the wrong side, make a marking and stitch it.
- Now you can think about how to sew a cup of oriental costume. You will need a thick fabric or ring. You can make a few thin strips, but you can make one wide.
- You can come up with original side pieces, connected by thin elastic bands or lacing. And be sure to decorate the bodice, side pieces and straps with beads, paillettes and all kinds of sparkles.
- Now we sew the belt, it consists of two parts - front and back. We make patterns for the costume belt for oriental dance, we attach it to a thin fabric, cut it out. The resulting parts are attached to the fleece, again cut out. Then we pin the resulting two layers to the cotton fabric and cut out. We sew all three layers in a zigzag along the edges and in the center.
- We work with the front part. Cut out from the main tissue a fragment with a margin for a bend of 2 cm. Cut the edges, turn and puncture. It remains to stitch the edges of the zigzag stitch.
- On the back side of the belt we make grooves. Cut the bottom and top of the workpiece, overlap the edges on each other and scribble. A convex form is obtained.
- As for the first part, we cut out a piece of fabric, cut the edges, bend, scribble, creating an inner contour.
- We almost managed to sew an oriental costume for a girl-dancer, now the turn of jewelry has come. You need to buy fringe from beads (you can make yourself) and sew on the inside of the belt.
- It remains to sew a skirt. This can be cut out sewn wedges or just light triangular handkerchiefs.
