The first thing to do is boil the water and let it cool to a temperature of forty degrees. Now add to it yeast pressed, granulated sugar, citric acid, pour chicory and stir until all the components have dissolved. We leave the workpiece warm until the first bubbles appear on the surface and two more hours for fermentation. Now, carefully, not to pick up the sediment, we pour kvass on plastic bottles or other containers and put it on the shelf of the refrigerator for cooling.

A few hours or the next day kvass can be tried.

How to cook homemade kvass with chicory and dry yeast?

In a five-liter plastic bottle, pour sugar, citric acid, yeast dry and chicory. Pour about a liter of slightly warm boiled water and shake the contents intensively, so that all components are dissolved to the maximum. Now add the remaining warm water and, without closing the bottle, leave it in the heat for two or three hours, after which we pour on one and a half liter or two-liter bottles and put on the shelf of the refrigerator to cool.

After a few hours, you can try the drink.

How to make homemade kvass from chicory - a recipe with mint

Ingredients:

First, put the boil water, add sugar, citric acid, chicory and mint or its tincture to it and stir until all the components have dissolved. Let the fragrant water cool to a temperature of forty degrees, then pour dry yeast into it and stir until completely dissolved. Leave the kvass stock for seven to nine hours, then pour the drink on plastic or other containers and put it for a few more hours in the refrigerator for cooling.

Kvass from chicory at home - a recipe with lemon

Ingredients:

Preparation

Pour water into the pan and let it boil. Now rinse the lemon, grind it with meat grinder or blender container, put it in a gauze bag and put it in a bowl with hot water. We dissolve sugar and chicory in it as well, squeeze the contents of the gauze bag thoroughly, mix it, taste the kvass, and if necessary add a little more citric acid. Let the liquid cool down to forty degrees, then lay the yeast, mix until they are completely dissolved, remove the bag and leave the kvass in the heat for three hours.

After a while, we pour the drink on the bottles and put it in the refrigerator to cool down. A few hours later, a fragrant piquant kvass can be sampled.
