Holidays in July

Holidays, who does not love them? Perhaps, only boring, withdrawn people and those who are too mired in everyday cares and forgot what rest is. Those who like to relax from sometimes stressful and boring weekdays or simply prefer to have fun, often think about what holidays are waiting for us this July. Someone, of course, will have only one celebration, and some should submit the whole calendar in red numbers.

Of course, there are also such holidays, which are accompanied by the observance of certain rules that exclude excessive fun and permissiveness - these are ecclesiastical. In July, Orthodox Christian holidays abound. Sometimes a day is celebrated and a few holidays. But the main Christmas is the holy prophet and forerunner of Christ, John. In the people this holiday is called Ivan Kupala, and its celebration falls on July 7. Also no less important among the national holidays in July is the day of the Glorious Apostles Peter and Paul (July 12th).

For Americans, the main holiday of July is the US Independence Day, which is celebrated on July 4, and it is full of salutes, songs and patriotic speeches. This holiday is so large and colorful that it captured the spirit of the triumph even of the outskirts of Canada and began to spread to other states. And, perhaps, another two or three years will pass, and it will reach our regions.

In the meantime, this is not the case, we should consider the July holidays native to us in spirit. In Russia, there will be 27 such, so there are quite a few reasons to rest. The most ardent loved ones are, of course, the Day of the State Automobile Inspection and the Day of the Fisherman. Well, if there are no jokes, then this month will be many and more significant days. Among them are the days of military glory (July 7, 10), the Russian Maritime Aviation (July 17), the creation of fire-control authorities (July 18th) and the Baptism of Rus (July 28). There will also be days of both national and international festivals.

If you consider the July holidays in Ukraine, then there are many similar to Russian celebrations, but there are half of them. The main one is Ivan Kupala - perhaps one of the most poetic holidays of the ritual calendar, it was not for nothing that this day inspired writers and poets. On July 28, relatively young holidays are the Day of the Ukrainian Navy and the Baptism of Kyiv Rus-Ukraine.

In Kazakhstan, among the July holidays, there are only a few of the most popular - the Day of the capital of Kazakhstan (celebrated on July 6), Ramadan (July 9) and the Day of the Security Committee of Kazakhstan (July 13).
