Characteristics of a jacket on a fleece lining
From the name it becomes clear that the fleece becomes an aspen material in the product. Many have heard of him, but do not know for sure what qualities he has and what his origin is.
Fleece is an artificial "wool" made of polyester. It consists of thin threads that are able to hold heat well. Fabric production looks like this: the finished synthetic material is put on the surface and with the help of rollers with sharp fine teeth destroy the surface layer. The resulting microfilaments form a web, which determines the excellent insulating properties of the fabric. After the main process, operations are performed that determine strength and appearance.
The material was invented in 1979 by the brand Polar Fleece and has since gained worldwide recognition. This is due to the qualities of fleece:
- accumulates heat during physical training;
- Light and durable;
- perfectly keeps the heat thanks to the "air chambers" in which the air is held;
- has a small specific weight;
- quickly dries;
- saves the properties in a wet state.
Thanks to the listed properties, a warm fleece jacket is suitable for professional training in winter, hiking and for daily wear.
Models of winter jackets on fleece
At the moment, manufacturers have created a variety of models of jackets, the main insulation of which was fleece. Depending on the seasonality and the model, all products are conditionally divided into the following types:
- Winter thick fleece jacket. In this product fleece performs the properties of the inner lining. Above, the jacket is covered with a waterproof and non-inflating membrane, which protects against strong wind and precipitation. The jacket must have deep pockets for warming hands and a high collar. Some models are equipped with a tie-down adjustment with a clamp to protect against blowing.
- Light Autumn Women's Fleece Jacket. Unlike the winter jacket on fleece, this product is not covered with a membrane, which increases its breathing properties. Women's fleece jacket for autumn can be with a hood and detachable sleeves. Thanks to this, the product can easily be transformed into a vest that can be combined with a thin sweater.
- A thin fleece jacket. This product is more like a sweatshirt, so it fits well with a casual wardrobe. A light jacket is often made of a special kind of fabric with a soft fleece fleece inside and a rigid "waffle" structure on the outside. The product has an inflated gate, which warms the throat well.
Before choosing a fleece jacket, you should determine the amount that you can pay for it. If the amount is small, then you can buy a jacket in an ordinary casual clothes store. Such a thing, as a rule, does not have quality guarantees and it is not known how long it will last.
