Basically, carpet is made of synthetics, but there are also more expensive specimens based on wool. The difference between a natural and synthetic carpet is almost insignificant, a single carpet with synthetic can be colored with harmful chemical compounds. If you do not know if it is worth laying carpet, then you should prepare for a thorough care of it and constant cleaning. Otherwise, it can become a breeding ground for microbes and ticks . To begin with, it is desirable to determine on what basis the carpet will be laid. If it is concrete, it is advisable to make sure that it is flat and does not include cracks. Before laying carpet on concrete or other substrate, you must use a special layer. What they put under the carpet is called the backing. - gives extra softness;
- hides irregularities;
- protects the bottom base of the floor from scratches (it is actual if it is a laminate).

Ways of laying
There are several effective ways of laying the coating:
- On the skirting boards. To do this,

The carpet is leveled on the floor, then on the perimeter and at the joints is attached to a double-sided scotch. This option is suitable for short-term coatings in exhibition spaces or for the home.
- Stick without connecting. After unfolding and cutting off, bend the cover in the middle and apply the adhesive with a spatula on the exposed floor area. For some time, the curved part of the carpet will fall to the floor, after which it needs to be smoothed with a roller.
