A huge space for children's creativity is in the usual nutshell. Due to the large enough size, special texture and good ability to keep the paint, a lot of interesting children's crafts can be created from the walnut shell. What can be done from the shell? Yes, all that the soul wants: funny animals, berries and mushrooms, Christmas decorations, appliqués and voluminous toys. The most difficult thing in making crafts is to carefully cut the nut into two halves and remove the nucleolus so as not to damage the shell. The rest depends only on imagination.


Arrangement from a nutshell "Ladybug on a flower"

  1. Prepare everything you need for the craft: a multi-colored plasticine and three walnuts.
  2. Carefully divide the nuts into halves. We will mold out details of the ladybug from plasticine: head and elytra.
  3. Attach the head and the elytra to the nutshell and mark the characteristic points.
  4. From the yellow plasticine we roll the ball, we flatten it a little and attach to it five halves of the nut shell - the petals.
  5. We decorate the flower with streaks of multi-colored plasticine.
  6. We fix the ladybug on the flower.

Children's crafts from a nutshell "Funny animals"

  1. For mice, paint the shells with gray paint, glue the ears cut out of the paper and the tail.
  2. For penguins, you need to paint the shells in two colors - black and white, then draw the eyes, stick the paws and the beak.
  3. For the bunny, we paint the shells in gray, glue the ears cut from the paper, the tail of a piece of cotton wool. Draw a muzzle.
  4. Turtles consist of two parts: a shell shell and a paper base with paws, a head and a tail. We paint shells in green, we apply a characteristic "tortoise" pattern, glue to the base, on which we will draw a preliminary muzzle.

  8. Funny bees will be obtained if you paint the shells in yellow and black stripes and attach a tendril of fluffy wire to them.
  9. For crawfish, we'll cut out the base with the legs and claws from the paper and glue it to the shell, painted in orange.
