Why do I need a cover for spinning?
The main purpose of using the cover is to protect it. The fabric of the cover protects the rod from scratches, which inevitably appear with time. Also, during the winter, dust settles on the spinning strips, reaching the joints. Over time, during the assembly will be formed microcracks, and in the end, the spinning, for which there was no proper care, will break at the most inopportune moment.

The second option - a soft cover for spinning - is no less popular. Such accessories are used more often not for carrying, but for storing rods at home - in a pantry or a garage. Their main drawback is the lack of a strong frame, because of which the cover protects the spinning only from dirt and moisture, but not from mechanical damage. At the same time, soft covers made of waterproof fabric are much cheaper than hard ones, and this is their key advantage.
There are also varieties of covers, such as tubes, trunks, covers for spinnings with a coil. The latter are particularly convenient: they allow you to store and carry the rod in assembled form. Thus, you will not need to constantly collect and disassemble the fishing rod, and also do not need to buy a separate cover under the reel.
The trunks have a durable cover on the outside, which protects the contents from breakage. Inside the cuffs for spinning are lined with foam rubber. As for the tube, it is a cylindrical spinning cover made of rigid plastic.
