The original classic Charlotte recipe, in some way, was rethought, acquiring new regional and national characteristics. There are several European variants of charlottes with fillings from different fruits and creams.

Now in the post-Soviet space the version of charlotte is popular, which is an easy-to-prepare biscuit pie filled with sliced ​​apples. Typically, the ingredients of the dough for the charlotte include chicken eggs. However, not everyone can always eat eggs for various reasons, including vegetarians, fasting and allergic people.

Recipe for charlotte with apples without eggs on yogurt

We mix in a bowl home yogurt , sugar, brandy, mango, soda and vanilla. We will add butter (if creamy, those it must be melted) and sifted flour. Carefully we will mix dough, the consistence should be as at a dense sour cream.

We will wash apples, we will dry with a napkin and cut into thin slices or finer. Add apples to the dough and mix.

The form (it should not be too deep) is oiled and sprinkled with a manga. Pour the dough into a mold and place it in a preheated oven. Bake charlotte at a temperature of 200-220 degrees C for about 40-45 minutes.

Readiness is determined by piercing a match in the middle of the pie, if the match remains dry, then the charlotte is ready. You can pour it on chocolate or fruit glaze. Before cutting, lightly cool charlotte and served with tea, coffee or hot chocolate, you can serve whipped cream.

Approximately following the same recipe (see above), you can bake a charlotte without eggs and kefir, on sour cream or on milk (or use a mixture of sour cream and milk).

We cut the apples and / or pears into slices and transfer them to a greased form (silicone molds are particularly convenient, they can also not be lubricated). Nevertheless, if we do not use manga, we need to sprinkle the surface of the form with breadcrumbs. Pour the dough into the mold over the sliced ​​fruit. We bake a charlotte in a preheated oven at a temperature of 200-220 degrees C for about 40-50 minutes.
