Old boring chandeliers have long bored everyone. Let's find out how to make an unusual chandelier or a butterfly lamp with our own hands.
For your convenience, prepare the following materials in advance. To decorate the chandeliers with butterflies, you will need:
- The wire frame of a chandelier consisting of at least two circles;
- aerosol paint in can;
- decorative chain;
- transparent or colored beads;
- plastic or paper for making butterflies;
- small metal rings according to the number of future butterflies;
- marker;
- scissors;
- pliers.
- First you should paint the frame. Using aerosol paint, give it the right color. Excellent chandeliers of silver, golden and bronze colors. If you want something brighter, choose the color of the lampshade from the color scheme of your interior, and do not forget that all colors should be combined.
- Now we will do butterflies. Using a piece of plastic, a marker and scissors, make a butterfly pattern. On it, cut out the necessary number of butterflies. In principle, this insect can be replaced by anything - birds, hearts, etc. Now cut out a piece of decorative chain for each butterfly. The length of each chain can be different - then your chandelier will be asymmetric. For the chandelier, which you see in the photographs, we used a chain length of 10 cm. Attach the chain to the wing of each insect. Some butterflies can be painted with acrylic paints: they will stand out from the crowd of their transparent girlfriends.
- Your chandelier can be made of paper butterflies. Cut them out of a pattern of dense colored paper and decorate to your liking, using a figured punch, sequins or rhinestones. All the charm of homemade interior items is that you can use absolutely any materials for this, and as a result you will have a unique creation that no one else has!
- With the help of metal rings, fasten each chain on the lampshade. On the inner, small circle, you can hang chains a little longer, thus decorating the lower tier of the chandelier. Distribute butterflies evenly in a circle - and your chandelier is ready!
There is another effective way to decorate the interior. Performing step 2, cut out a few butterflies more. If you want, you can paint them in the appropriate colors, and then place them in prominent places in the room: curtains, a mirror or even a computer monitor. Several details of the same composition, butterflies in the interior of the room, made in a single style, will well complement the harmony of your interior decoration.
