Despite the fact that the yellowing leaves of the Acidanters are not very aesthetic looking towards the autumn, the plant looks quite dignified thanks to the growing baby of a dark green color that retains its color until frost.

Rules for planting and care

The most suitable substrate for planting and cultivating acididers is a fertile, slightly acid and well drained soil. Before planting the bulbs on the bed, they are grown in pots indoors. To plant a plant in the street is necessary in the spring, when the earth has already warmed up well. In holes deep to 12 centimeters, located 15-20 centimeters from each other, place one corms. After a few weeks the plant will begin to become covered with buds. You can also grow acidader in an ordinary pot. If the size of the container exceeds 30 centimeters in diameter, then a neighborhood and ten bulbs are allowed.

Care is reduced to regular moderate watering, periodic feeding, which is optional, as well as mulching. Next, peel the dried bulbs from the ground and dried scales, dry again in a roomy environment, and then store in a dark place in a paper bag. The temperature regime is about 15 degrees.

Reproduction of Acidulators

You can propagate this plant with seeds, corms, and shoots-babies. And the result will be in any case positive. If you decide to use the seeds for reproduction, then it is enough to sow them in a pot at the beginning of February. By the end of April, the grown-up athletes will be ready to transfer to the flower bed.

Atsidantera gives several offspring. They should be carefully separated and planted on a separate bed or in a pot. When children grow up, you can transplant them to a permanent place. If the soil is fertile, and the watering is regular, then in the autumn the young athletes will please you with blossoming. Do not forget to treat the bulbs before planting with a fungicide. This will prevent the plant from diseases such as rot, rust.
