In the Norwegian city of Alesund there is the largest saltwater aquarium in Northern Europe, called the Atlantic Marine Park (Atlanterbavsparken or The Atlantic Sea Park). It is located on the coast in a popular tourist area.

The institution has 2 work schedules: winter (from September 1 to May 31) and summer (from June 1 to August 31). In the first case, the aquarium can be visited daily from 11:00 and until 16:00, and on Sunday - until 18:00. In the second - the doors of the Atlantic Marine Park are open every day from 10:00 to 18:00, on Saturday a short day - until 16:00.
How to get there?
The oceanarium is 3 km from the center of Aalesund . From the cruise terminal, there are buses to the sights . By car to the marine park you can reach by car along the road E136 and Tuenesvegen. The journey takes up to 10 minutes.
