Activities in Psychology

The concept of activity in psychology implies a multi-level interaction of a person with the outside world, aimed at satisfying their needs. In the process of this interaction, the subject has certain relationships with his environment and other members of society, which, in turn, have a direct impact on the nature and form of this activity.

We all influence each other

In the process of its formation, each individual person realizes himself in all three main types of activity: play, study and work, and communication plays an important role in this, as the main element characterizing the degree of the individual's ability to coexist comfortably with his environment. In general, communication and activities in psychology have always been considered as the main components that affect the current psychological state of a person. Depending on them, the subject has a certain positive or negative reflective reaction to various stimuli coming from the outside world, which, in turn, affects the activities of other members of society, and therefore, the development of the whole society as a whole.

And what about theory?

The theory of activity in psychology has always been based on the need-motive-goal link, as on the basic element of the subject's interaction with society. As you know, in different age categories, each of the listed components in the above-mentioned "trinity" differs from the original one, laid down in childhood, although the main direction is clearly traced throughout the life of the individual. In particular, the need to meet physical needs, in the form of food and sleep. As you grow up, they add to the need for self-realization, domination, continuation of the family and the provision of a comfortable existence. In accordance with this, both motives and goals are changing.

This whole chain is well traced in all the main types of activity, the psychology of which connects their interpenetrating and complementary structural forms. The child plays to learn how to live in accordance with the rules of behavior established by society and study becomes part of the game. A teenager or a student learns in order to acquire the knowledge necessary for his future work, moreover, the work itself is an integral part of both games and studies, since without some effort, it is impossible to achieve effective results in any of the listed areas activity of the subject. Thus, the circle closes and we get as a result a single, multilevel system of human activity.

The contribution is made by each

The aspect of personality and its activity, in psychology, always went in conjunction with the moral and ethical and moral norms inherent in a particular individual and the degree of their observance. Without this factor, as well as without studying the root behavioral assumptions, it is impossible to give an adequate assessment of the current psychological state of the subject, as well as clearly define the characteristics of his personality. For example, the system Motive - The goal will have different sublevels among representatives of different cultures, religions and traditions, although its main components are the same for all people living on the planet.

Human psychology and the activity of the individual as a member of society are of great importance in the process of the evolution of the whole society, and each of us contributes its unique contribution to the development of its behavior (positive or negative). And in what direction the vector of the further structure of the society will unfold, as well as the establishment of the basic rules that all members will have to comply with, to some extent depends on each person now living.
