A 5-year-old girl at the last stage of cancer has married a best friend!

How many girls dream of getting married, but for the heroine of our post this dream was the last before death ...

Five-year-old Elaeda Paterson from Forres (Scotland) was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare type of cancer that affects only children. This malignant tumor on average takes life from one child out of 100 thousand ...

When the parents realized that this is almost the "end", they decided to make the rest of the life of the beloved child unforgettable and the happiest. The girl was offered to write a list of those things she dreams about most!

"In February, we were told that treatment can only prolong Elaida's life, but she still will not survive ... That's why we thought it would be great to fulfill all her desires and leave more warm memories for us," says Mom.

The "cherished list" of a 5-year-old girl was a trip to Disneyland in Paris, repainting the room in a favorite pink color and a walk through the zoo. But the last point moved everyone to tears - Elaida dreamed of marrying her 6-year-old best friend Garison Grier!

It is said - done, especially since this faithful boy has been begging his beloved girl about the same thing for a year. Yes, Garison even "borrowed" a ring from his mother, to give the girl!

"There is some kind of magical connection between them. My son always said that he would marry Elaid! "- says his mother.

So on the most solemn day, Elaida entered the room, or rather went under the aisle with her brother Callum to Disney's song "When You Wish Upon a Star." We will see?

Surrounded by friends, family, princesses and all superheroes, Elaida and Garison were declared "best friends forever"!

Well, instead of the wedding rings, the children exchanged the pendants of St. Christopher, as a symbol of the common path that they passed together ...

At the ceremony, the "fairy fairy" read a fairy tale about the struggle of Elaida, written by her mother. It told of a brave girl who was ready for anything, for the sake of salvation, and she was not even intimidated by the evil beast (cancer), who every now and then wanted to win ...

"He took all of her hair, but did not take the smile ..." - wrote Gail Paterson.

More than 200 guests made Elaida's last wish bright and unforgettable. And after a few days she died in the family circle ... And although not - she was taken to her angels ...
