A very small baby will simply feel them, transfer them to different containers and, of course, try them on the tooth. But wood is a natural and safe material, so there's nothing to worry about.
A little later, usually after a year and a half or two years, the child may like wooden cubes with pictures or letters. With their help, you can show the baby, and then he and you, - fruits, vegetables, various animals - all that is depicted on the sides of cubes. They can also be used successfully for teaching basic colors.
Finally, after two years, the child together with his parents can try to collect their first puzzles from wooden cubes. Of course, at first the crumb will not be able to cope with this difficult task independently, but slowly, doing every day, soon everything will start to work out.
