Wooden cubes for children

Who among us in my childhood did not play with ordinary wooden cubes? We all remember how they built towers from them, added pictures and much, much more. Currently, there is a huge number of various developing toys and designers on sale, but the popularity of wooden cubes for children does not diminish over the years.

What is the use of wooden blocks?

So why is this game still one of the most beloved, both for kids and for their parents? Children's wooden cubes attract the child's attention, they can be either completely unpainted, or with bright pictures on all sides; as an ordinary cubic form, and any other, the most diverse forms. Cubes develop imagination, fine motor skills, and also help the child learn letters, colors and other categories that can be depicted on them.

In addition, wooden cubes are able to replace any constructor, because they can also be folded in a certain order, thereby collecting houses, towers and any other objects, it is enough just to include the imagination. In addition, it is even more difficult to assemble a designer from cubes, because the details here do not adhere to each other, which means that this game requires more attention and perseverance from the child.

From what age can you play with the baby in cubes?

Already on the first birthday you can give your child a set of wooden cubes. For starters, this can be the most ordinary models, the main thing is that they are performed in bright colors and attract the attention of the child. A very small baby will simply feel them, transfer them to different containers and, of course, try them on the tooth. But wood is a natural and safe material, so there's nothing to worry about.

A little later, usually after a year and a half or two years, the child may like wooden cubes with pictures or letters. With their help, you can show the baby, and then he and you, - fruits, vegetables, various animals - all that is depicted on the sides of cubes. They can also be used successfully for teaching basic colors.

Finally, after two years, the child together with his parents can try to collect their first puzzles from wooden cubes. Of course, at first the crumb will not be able to cope with this difficult task independently, but slowly, doing every day, soon everything will start to work out.

To play with cubes the child will be able both in preschool and even early school age, for example, to teach with their help numbers, counting, letters and words of the English alphabet and many other things.

Sets of designers from wooden cubes also exist for children of all ages, but the older the child, the smaller the details and the greater their number.
