Water snails can be fed with ready-made fish feeds, which contain extruded algae. In order to preserve the greenery in the aquarium, the snails are fed with vegetables.
Newborn snails
Newborn land snails do not need to be fed at first, they eat eggshells from the eggs they grew up in. This decision was prompted by nature itself. It is recommended to feed small snails with small greens, chopped carrots or apples. Only the born aquarium snails are able to eat soft algae and waste from fish feed. If they are still separated from the rest of the inhabitants of the artificial pond in order to avoid their eating by adults, it is necessary to prepare the feed in advance. For the first two weeks, finely ground fodder for aquarium fish is best.
