"Perfection has no limit" - this expression very accurately reflects the evolution of television sets. After all, each subsequent model has an increasing number of additional functions and an increasingly clear and realistic image .
One of the latest innovations in the market was a TV with a curved screen, which has a lot of advantages over flat and more convex models. We will describe it in our article.
The better the curved TV?
The world's first curved TV was released by LG, whose value in Korea was about 13 thousand dollars. The next such production was occupied by the South Korean group Samsung.
The new model (EA9800), introduced by LG Electronics, is an OLED TV with an ergonomically curved screen. Thanks to this form, the screen, across its entire area, is equal to the viewer's eyes. This allows you to get rid of the problem of image distortion and reduce the detail of the picture at the edges.
The weight of the new TV is 17 kg with a thickness of only 4.3 mm and 55 inches diagonally on the screen itself. Ultra-thin transparent speakers are mounted in its base. But, despite their size, the sound quality is excellent.

- WRGB. Makes the displayed picture very bright and realistic. This is achieved by combining a unique four-pixel system with a white subpixel and a conventional adjustment scheme for the RGB color palette ("red, green, blue").
- Color Refiner. The image due to an additional correction of the color accuracy becomes even more saturated and natural.
- Four-Color Pixel. Creates all conditions for excellent color rendering.
- High Dynamic Range (HDR) . Provides the necessary degree of contrast and maximum color separation. By using this technology, the color expression
becomes more rich, and black color - deep.
Also important is the screen size - 55 inches. Together with the previously listed technologies used in it, it helps ensure that the necessary contrast levels of the picture are maintained regardless of the lighting of the room and the viewing angle.
