An elegant and beautiful breed of Havanabran is the result of breeding work on crossing Siamese, Russian blue, Burmese and black domestic cats. Cats harbor according to their external data are considered to be oriental (from English. Oriental - eastern). They are characterized by a special refinement, grace and elegance. Cats of this breed are medium-sized animals with perfectly smooth, shiny wool of medium length without any bright spots or a tabby pattern. The coat color is uniform throughout the length of the hair. The body is muscular with thin and slender limbs. The tip of the nose, like the cushions of the paws, is pink. The head is sphenoid, its length somewhat larger than the width. Large ears, with rounded tips, are tilted forward. The green eyes have oval shapes in the most different shades.
A unique feature of the cats is the Havanabran - they have brown mustaches. This is the only breed for which the color of the mustache is prescribed in the breed standards! Cats breed Havnabran clever, affectionate, playful and sociable, perfectly in contact with children. But cats of this breed do not tolerate loneliness, they need a human society or, at least, in the company of another cat. They differ in excellent health and do not require special care. In rare cases, there may be diseases of the upper respiratory tract, which were transmitted at a genetic level from Siamese cats .
Unfortunately, but the breed is on the verge of extinction. In total, in the world there are only 123 individuals of high-breed cats Havana Brown.
