Recently, most often people prefer environmentally friendly water-dispersion formulations that are not dangerous to use in a living environment - Bustilat Omega, Gumilax, ADM-K, Thomsit, Homakoll, UZIN-KE and others. In addition, they fix the linoleum well and are sufficiently elastic.
Mastics
If you have linoleum without a foundation, then you need to buy mastics, consisting of resins and synthetic rubber - "Sprut", KN-3 and others.
How to lay linoleum on concrete?
Well, than you glue the linoleum to the concrete, you already know roughly, now it's time to put it on the floor. It is best to spread our cover face down in the same room and let him lie down for a few days in this position. This will help remove almost inevitable "waves" on its surface. The base is better treated with a primer, using a mixture of deep penetration.
We bend the cover and apply our glue on the rough floor, the thickness of the layer - 0,4 mm. Depending on the viscosity of the solution, a roller or a notched trowel may be used. When using bituminous compositions, linoleum fits within 15-20 minutes, and water-dispersion solutions make it possible to glue immediately after their application to concrete. Then we put our linoleum on top and smooth it smoothly. If the canvas is large, then we put a load on it and then move on. In the place of joints linoleum is laid with an overlap (2 cm) and a sharp knife cut through both canvases using a straight long ruler. Adhesive spreads the edges, the joint and the material are pressed tightly to the floor.
