The history of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, like the entire post-revolutionary Russia, tells of numerous dramatic events that directly affected churches, monasteries and parishes. For a long time they were destroyed and erected again, and only after the fall of the regime began to gradually rebound from non-existence.

St. Nicholas Church (Krasnoyarsk)
The construction of the temple began in 1994 on the picturesque bank of the river, from which an amazing view to all four directions of the world opens. Once there was one of the stages of repression on the way to Siberia, thanks to which the decision was made to erect a church on this site.
The height of the temple is about 30 meters (dome with a cross), but in general the church is small and holds only about 70 people. This is a favorite place for newlyweds to hold a wedding with a subsequent photo session on unusually beautiful ascents to the church.

Three-Sainted Temple in Krasnoyarsk
In honor of the three hierarchs (Basil, John Chrysostom and Gregory the Theologian), a small church was built at the end of the 19th century. But he did not stand for long, after which he was partially destroyed, and then completely demolished. And only in recent years, restoration work has begun, which changed the appearance of the structure, but did not affect its essence.
At the temple there is a Sunday school, where adults and children are attached to divine grace. Also here are the Sacraments of Baptism, weddings and other church-wide deeds.

Church of St. John the Baptist, Krasnoyarsk
Perhaps, this is the largest cathedral of Krasnoyarsk with the greatest flock. Interesting is the unusual architecture of knowledge, which even attracts atheists. Despite the location of the temple in the center of the city, here is a kind of oasis of peace and quiet. The church has a parish school, which is very popular among parishioners.
