Stunningly tasty and satisfying dish of cabbage and zucchini in addition to its benefits and diet, is not at all expensive and very convenient to prepare.
This summer and light dish can be prepared in many variations, some of which we will share with you in this article.
The recipe for stewed cabbage with zucchini
This is the simplest and most basic recipe, which you can diversify to your taste.
Ingredients:
- white cabbage - 1 pc .;
- zucchini - 2 pcs .;
- carrots - 1 piece;
- onions - 1 pc .;
- tomato paste - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- broth - 1 item;
- salt, pepper - to taste;
- lemon juice - to taste;
- vegetable oil - for frying;
- bay leaves - 2 pcs.
Preparation
On vegetable oil fry sliced onions and large grated carrots. As soon as the passement begins to acquire a golden color - we add zucchini, which must first be cleaned of seeds and peel (if it is thick), and cut into cubes.
As soon as the excess moisture from the frying pan evaporated, finely shred cabbage and add it to the vegetables. Fill the dish with broth so as to cover the contents of the frying pan, add tomato paste, salt and pepper, mix.
Extinguish the cabbage under a closed lid on a small fire for 40-50 minutes, or until the softness of the cabbage itself, then add the vinegar, or lemon juice to taste and serve to the table.
If you want to cook cabbage stewed with zucchini in the multivark, then fry the ingredients in the "Baking" mode, and then bring the dish to the ready with the help of "Quenching".
Cauliflower stew with courgettes
Ingredients:
- zucchini - 1 piece;
- eggplant - 1 piece;
- carrots - 1 piece;
- cauliflower - 1 head (500 g);
- vegetable oil;
- chicken broth - 2 items;
- salt, pepper - to taste.
Preparation
Zucchini and eggplants are peeled from the skin and seeds, and cut into large cubes. Cabbage and we disassemble on the inflorescence, in the salted water until half-cooked.
While cabbage is brewed, carrots three on a large grater, and fry until soft, add a mixture of zucchini and eggplant, salt, into the frying pan, and keep on fire until the moisture evaporates completely.
Once the cabbage is ready, add it to the pan to the rest of the vegetables and pour the chicken broth. Put vegetables under the lid until soft.
If you want to make the dish more satisfying, then prepare cabbage stewed with potatoes and zucchini, for this pre-finished to semi-ready product, put together with the inflorescences of cabbage.
Cabbage stewed with zucchini and beans
Ingredients:
- bacon - 4 strips;
- onions - 1 pc .;
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc .;
- zucchini - 2 pcs .;
- cabbage - 300 g;
- dark beer - 1 pint;
- canned beans - 300 g;
- salt, pepper - to taste.
Preparation
Strips of bacon are roasted to a ruddy color and crisp texture. We take the fried bacon, and in the remaining fat add a little oil and chopped onions. Grill the onion until soft, but do not bring it to a golden color, then add chopped bell peppers, zucchini, and keep the frying pan on fire for another 10 minutes.
All liquid from the dish is not necessary to evaporate, it gives the taste and aroma of cabbage.
We serve cabbage with a piece of fried bread and a glass of cold beer, without forgetting to sprinkle the dish with pieces of fried bacon.
