Speech games for preschoolers

The development of speech in preschool children is accelerating. At this age, children not only learn to pronounce sounds, but also do it right, while simultaneously replenishing their own vocabulary. It is important for parents to help their child, for this purpose special speech games and exercises are used to develop speech and establish correct speech breathing.

Why do you need proper speech breathing?

Very often you can hear how preschoolers, uttering long phrases, get lost in the middle, starting to speak excitedly, or finish them in a barely audible whisper. The reason for this is in incorrect speech breathing. The child just does not have enough air to finish the phrase.

Speech breathing helps children not only to clearly pronounce the phrases, but also to regulate the loudness of their own voice depending on the situation.

Games for the development of speech breathing

Games that promote the formation of proper breathing, parents should be limited in time. Because of deep breaths and exhalations, the child may become dizzy.

The game "Bantiki"

For the game will need paper bows, thread and rope. One end of the thread must be tied to a string, and the other to a bow. Thus, several bows are fixed on the rope.

The task

The child needs to breathe through the nose, blow on the bows. For interest, you can make a competitive moment and blow on the bows with the child. Will win the one whose bow will fly further than the opponent.

Similarly, you can come up with a lot of games and blow off paper flowers, paper butterflies or listen to the noise of leaves in the vase when the "wind" blows on them.

Playable games with voice accompaniment

Speech games with movements are especially popular with preschoolers. The main emphasis in them is on the movements, along the way children supplement the vocabulary and learn the smoothness of the speech expiration.

Game "Harvest"

The game is better to take part in a group of children. The presenter reads the verse, and the children, repeating the lines after him, make certain movements.

In the garden we go (the children are walking in a circle),

Harvest we will collect.

We will pull the carrots (they sit down and pull out the carrot),

And potatoes will be dug up (the children pretend to dig)

Cut we head cabbage ("cut off" cabbage),

Round, juicy, very tasty (hands describe the circle three times).

Sorrel we will narvem a little (children, sitting down, "tear" sorrel)

And we will return along the path (the children, holding hands, again circling).
