So, from the beginning of the twentieth century, right up to the 40s natural motifs reigned: complex carving, ornate forging, silk with images of flora and fauna - all this will help you recreate the interior of those times. Starting with the military 40's, and straight to 50's, the decor was not famous for a special variety of shapes and colors. All furniture of those times looked roughly chopped, with straight corners, sometimes decorated with scant carvings - a hint of chic past years. And only in the mid-60's there was a neon boom: bright geometry and a variety of materials, textures and contrasts drowned out the stinginess of the interiors of the last two decades. Riot of colors continued until the mid-80's, though the colors played more nobly, the fashion again returned to the "over-saturated" luxury of the 19th century, which lasted until the 90's. Upholstered furniture of the retro 90's are puffy, overcomfortable sofas and armchairs made of leather and suede, bulky carved cupboards, chests of drawers and cabinets from cherry, oak and maple - a contiguous period, "smoothing" the pathos of the 70's and 80's.
