Punkkeys - recipe

This unusual and outlandish name for us is nothing more than simple pancakes, with one difference - they are prepared in milk, due to which they are obtained by air or not so fat. American pancakes or pancakes are a favorite breakfast in the west. They are quite satisfying, but they do not create tension in the stomach. For everything else, they are frying in a dry frying pan, so they do not burn and quickly turn over.

Pancakes on milk

The simplest are American punk-balls. They fry quickly and do not require special preparation. In order to make fragrant punkakes for breakfast, you will need absolutely ordinary products.

Cut the butter with a fork and whisk with the egg. Add sugar and salt, gradually pouring in the milk, mix thoroughly. Mix the flour with a baking powder and pour it into the dough, stirring until a homogeneous mass similar to sour cream turns out. Heat the frying pan (for real punkakes you need a frying pan with non-stick coating) and spoon the pancakes on it. Fry the pancakes on a small fire for 2 minutes on each side. Pancakes should brown and they will have holes. Serve classic punkcakes with fruit jam or some syrup.

Chocolate Punkcakes

Pour 3/4 cup of milk into a deep bowl and add the cocoa, eggs, flour, sugar, salt, vanilla and baking powder. With a mixer, whisk the dough well until smooth. The remainder of the milk is heated and melt the oil in it. Milk should not be hot, but warm. Pour milk and butter into the dough, stirring constantly. Heat the frying pan with a little oil and fry the pancakes on both sides until ready. Already ready pancakes stack with a pile, sprinkling every third punkake with chocolate.

Banana pancakes

Make a puree of bananas, wiping them through a sieve. Mix flour with baking powder, salt, soda and leave aside. Beat eggs with milk for a few minutes, then add the vegetable oil and the banana puree. Mix to a homogeneous mass, pour in a dry flour mix and at the lowest speed of the mixer, whisk the dough for about a minute. Frying pan warm well, if necessary, oil a little with butter. Fry pancakes at the rate of 2 tablespoons per pancake. Once the bubbles appear on one side, turn the pancake to the other side and cook for another minute. Banana pancakes are best served with chocolate syrup or honey.

Pancakes on kefir

For those who love primordially Russian dishes, we offer a recipe for simple pancakes on kefir, familiar to us as Russian pancakes.

Ingredients:

Preparation

Pound eggs with sugar in a bowl to completely dissolve the sugar. Pour in kefir eggs and stir well. Mix the flour with baking powder and stirring constantly, pour it into the dough. Add soda and melted butter. Stir thoroughly once more. Before frying, grease the frying pan with butter. If in the process of punkeye a little stick, grease again the frying pan. Pancakes on kefir served with sour cream or jam.
