Pododermatitis in dogs

Inflammation of paw pads in dogs is called pododermatitis. The culprits of his appearance are allergies , fungal infections, parasites , oncology, autoimmune diseases, a general lowering of the body's defenses.

If the poddermatitis is caused by autoimmune diseases, then lifelong treatment with hormonal medications is required (for example, Prednisolone).

To treat a dog's pododermatitis needs a long time, often there are relapses.
