Parfait with pomegranate

Parfait - a traditional French dessert, which is a layer of airy creamy mixture with berries. Usually such dessert is served in a tall glass.

The American variation of parfait includes ice cream, which makes the classic dessert even tastier.

Recipe for parfait with pomegranate and ginger

Mix pomegranate jam with lemon juice in a small bowl. Cream combine with sour cream and whisk until a uniform air mass, not forgetting to add sugar, ground cardamom and ginger. Gently combine the milk mixture with a tablespoon of jam.

At the bottom of a glass or a tall glass lay out a tablespoon of whipped cream mixture, sprinkle it with a crumb of ginger biscuits , then jam and pomegranate seeds. Repeat the layers and sprinkle with a pomegranate top.

Whisk the whipped cream until firm peaks and combine them with melted ice cream. The resulting mass is transferred to a confectionery bag and returned to the freezer for 10-15 minutes. From the passion fruit we remove the core.

Lay the layer of ice cream in a glass, sprinkle everything with ground nuts and pomegranate seeds. Repeat the layer of ice cream, now watering it with flesh of passion fruit. We alternate the layers until we fill the whole glass.

For the pomegranate, mix the starch with sugar, put the mixture on the fire and add the seeds of the pomegranate, its juice and lemon juice. After boiling, continue cooking for another 5 minutes and remove the syrup in the refrigerator.

For pudding, combine the cream, milk and vanilla in a saucepan, after which we put the mixture on the fire. Ready mixture to cool for 5 minutes, add to it eggs, sugar and starch, again we return the pudding to the fire and cook until thick.

Lay out layers of pudding, nut crumbs and pomegranate syrup in dessert forms, decorate all with pomegranate seeds.
