Lymphoma of the breast

Lipoma is a benign formation, that is, a tumor, in adipose tissue. It also occurs in the mammary glands, but it can be localized in the skin, pericardial tissue, meninges, gastrointestinal tract organs, in the bones. Usually lipoma affects women over the age of 40-50 years. If such formation appears at a younger age, then usually a multiple lipomatosis develops, in which lipomas are found in all organs, in the skin and subcutaneous tissue.

What does breast lipoma look like?

Lipoma is a tumor consisting of adipose tissue, so it is called a fatty. Its consistency is soft, it is mobile. Most often, the formation has an oval or round shape with 1-1.5 cm in diameter without a clear restriction. Wen grows slowly, but there are cases when it develops to large sizes (10 cm and more), which leads to an ugly cosmetic defect, in which one breast looks much larger than the other. Lymphoma of the breast is located subcutaneously. The symptoms of breast lipoma include the fact that it does not give the woman painful sensations. However, large stitches can squeeze adjacent tissues and nerve endings, thereby causing pain.

Lipoma: causes

Modern medicine so far does not give a clear answer about the causes of lupus in the chest. There are several opinions about the prerequisites that led to the appearance of the wen:

  1. According to the first, education in the breast is the result of metabolic disorders in the body, in particular fat and protein. Influence hormonal changes, stress, deterioration of ecology can render also.
  2. There is an opinion, according to which, the adipose develops because of the clogging of the opening of the sebaceous gland.
  3. Adherents of traditional medicine consider lipoma to be the result of slagging of the body.
  4. In many cases, there is a hereditary factor, in particular, with multiple lipomatosis.

Lipoma of the breast: treatment

If a woman with a mammary gland self-examination reveals a mild, rounded shape, she should consult a mammologist. He will not only examine the chest, but also give direction for the diagnosis of breast lipomas: breast ultrasound or mammography. In addition, a tumor biopsy will be necessary to exclude the presence of cancer cells. It is on the basis of these methods that the final diagnosis is made.

In the question of how to treat a breast lipoma, the opinion of doctors is unambiguous - surgical removal. If the formation in the chest is small, the mammologist at first watches her growth at certain intervals. The operation in this case is shown if:

Small lipomas are removed under local anesthesia.

As for the large adipose tissue, surgical intervention is mandatory. Despite the fact that the breast lipoma does not pose a threat to the life of a woman, since it is very rare degenerates into a malignant tumor, its removal is necessary because of a cosmetic defect. At large formations with a size of up to 10 cm in diameter and more, an operation is performed under general anesthesia, but for two days the woman is released home. The main thing is that the removal of the lipoma is complete. If there remains a small amount of a shell or capsule, the grease will recur.

Despite the popularity of alternative medicine, treatment of lipoma of the breast with folk remedies is impossible. Moreover, attempts to get rid of the wen by compressors, lotions are sometimes dangerous to health, since sometimes they prevent detection of a malignant tumor.
