Lion of felt - a toy for the baby

If your child dreams of going to Africa , sew a toy lion for him. Then the child will be able to arrange an imaginary Africa right at home. A nice and completely not terrible lion can be sewn from felt.

To make a lion we will need:

Operating procedure:

  1. The pattern of a lion consists of a mane, an ear, a muzzle, a nose, a trunk, paws, and a tail. These parts of the pattern must be drawn on paper, and then cut.
  2. The details of the pattern will be redrawn on the felt and cut out. Two details of the mane will be cut out of orange felt. And from yellow felt we will cut out one detail of muzzle and tail, and two details of ears, trunk and paws. From white felt we will cut two ears, and from pink one nose.
  3. The yellow detail of the muzzle is sewn to one detail of the mane.
  4. Ears we sew from yellow and white details.
  5. Sew our ears on the sides of the muzzle. In the center of the muzzle we will sew a nose.
  6. Pink threads sew the lion cheeks, and black - prish'em eyes-beads.
  7. We sew this part with the second part of the mane, leaving a hole for filling the mane with a sintepon.
  8. To the details of the trunk of the lion we sew details of the paws.
  9. We sew a trunk from the prepared parts, and on the stomach we leave an unshielded area.
  10. The head and trunk of the lion will be filled with the sintepon.
  11. We sew on the belly of the lion's uncleared plot.
  12. We sew the head of the lion to the trunk.
  13. Let's make a lion's tail. Take a yellow ribbon with a length of 4.5 cm, fold it twice in length and sew. Around the one end of the tape, wrap a piece of tail, cut out of felt, and sew it with yellow threads.
  14. We sew the tail to the trunk of the lion.
  15. A toy lion of felt is ready. For the company, he can sew a giraffe, a zebra and a monkey.
