Kitchen from chipboard by one's own hands

We all spend quite a lot of our free time in the kitchen. And every owner wants it to look cozy and comfortable.

Today our trade offers a huge variety of different models of kitchen sets. You can choose any of them according to your taste and wishes. However, the prices for such furniture are quite high. If you have a creative vein and skill in your hands, make a kitchen from the EAF with your own hands. With such original furniture for the kitchen, you will not only please your household members, but also save a significant part of your family budget.

Creation of the kitchen begins with the project. To begin with, it is necessary, with a pencil, ruler and a sheet of paper, to draw a plan of the room with indication of the location of all communications: water pipe, electrical wiring, gas.
Now we need to decide on the design of our future kitchen furniture from chipboard. Carefully consider what cabinets and pedestals you need in the kitchen, where the stove and sink will be located, what cabinets will be with the shelves, and which - with the drawers. And, since our industry produces kitchen furniture of standard sizes, we will also stick to them in order to make our work easier. Now you can draw or create a computer program sketch of our future furniture.

In order to make a kitchen set, we need the following materials:

Particleboard thickness 18 mm for the case;
DSP 16 mm thick for boxes;
Fibreboard for the back of the case;
MDF for facades.

Cutting material according to our dimensions can be ordered at any construction company. In the same place you will make and edging: a beautiful and smooth butt of all details.

In addition, we will need such accessories:

sets for drawers-12 pcs .;
hinges under the door for a sink - 2 pcs .;
a rolling mesh for the oven - 1 pc.

Well, any construction work is unthinkable without such tools:

screwdriver;
electric jigsaw;
Clamps;
conductor for dowels;
electric drill.

Using a conductor for dowels, drill three holes in each of the pedestals: two at a distance of 40 mm from the edges and one in the middle. In the bottom of the stand with the help of the same conductor drill back holes for dowels.

We connect the sidewalls with dowels.

At the bottom of each cabinet we mount at the same distance guides for boxes. To avoid misalignment, be sure to use the level to check that the rails are level.

At the same distance from the edges of the bottoms we attach four legs.

We fasten the back wall of the cabinet to the sidewalls with screws. This will look like a pedestal without a facade.

Kitchen facades from chipboard are better to order immediately with holes for hinges, which can now be installed on self-tapping screws. In the same manner, drawers are also assembled.

The electric jigsaw cut the necessary filter holes, sockets, etc. in the rear walls of the pedestals.

Now all the thumbs should be leveled. To do this, we connect them with clamps and, adjusting the legs, set the top of the pedestals in one plane.

Use a jigsaw to cut a hole in the sink in the table top. After this, the cut must be glued with silicone to prevent moisture from entering the DSP.

Install the filter, and then the washing itself.

This is what the kitchen made of particleboard looks like, made by own hands.

As you can see, it's quite possible to make a kitchen from the wood chipboard. But how nice it will be in the evenings to rest in a cozy kitchen environment after a tiring working day for a cup of tea!
