Recipe for jam from sea-buckthorn

To prepare sea-buckthorn jam you need: 1 kilogram of large sea buckthorn, 250 ml of water, 1.5 kilograms of sugar. Before you can make jam from sea-buckthorn berries, the berries should be thoroughly washed and dried. From sugar and water, boil the syrup. With hot syrup pour the sea-buckthorn and leave to infuse for 4 hours. After this, drain the syrup, boil and cool. With cool syrup pour in the berries of sea-buckthorn, put on a slow fire (bring to a boil) and boil for 10 minutes. Ready jam pour over hot glass jars and roll.

Another recipe for sea-buckthorn jam

There is a recipe for jam from sea-buckthorn without cooking. For this, several tablespoons of sea buckthorn berries should be covered in pasteurized jars, then as many spoons of sugar. After that, the can should be closed with a plastic lid and shaken. This procedure should be done until the pot is filled, after which it is put for several weeks in a dark place, so that the sea-buckthorn will start the juice, and all the sugar has dissolved in it.
