Interactive teaching methods

The radical changes that have occurred and continue to occur in modern society create the prerequisites for a complete renewal of the educational system. This trend is reflected in the development and subsequent implementation of interactive teaching methods - new education technologies based on world pedagogical experience. At the same time, the use of interactive teaching methods assumes a new role for the teacher or teacher. Now they are not knowledge translators, but active leaders and participants in the learning process. Their main task is to build dialogues of students with the reality they are aware of.

However, many teachers still do not understand the essence of interactive teaching methods in school, continuing to transfer knowledge and evaluate the acquired material. In fact, they should support the students' interest in their disciplines, be able to organize their independent training, understand psychology, and use new pedagogical concepts and technologies. If we simplify as much as possible, we will get the following: the modern economy needs specialists ready to make decisions, to answer for them and to be able to perceive criticism, but in reality in school 80% of the speech is spoken by the teacher - the students passively listen.

Interactive schooling

The main difference between interactive methods of teaching in an elementary school is that pupils need to be taught selectively and for a short time, that is, interactive technologies should be used at a certain stage of the lesson, for a specific purpose, within a certain time frame. To do this, most often used tools such as electronic textbooks, the latest multimedia tools, computer testing and methodological support. Recent research has shown that the highest results are given by interactive methods of teaching English and computer science. Children are much more interested in studying on the interactive whiteboard, computer, and this is an excellent motivation. Joint training, when each schoolchild exchanges knowledge with classmates, takes place in an atmosphere of mutual support, which develops communication skills. Children learn to work in a team, understand each other and be successful.

Interactive methods of teaching in lessons are based on the use of the connections "student-teacher", "pupil-student", "pupil-group of pupils", "teacher-group of pupils", "group of students-group of pupils". At the same time, students who are currently outside the group learn to observe the situation, analyze it, draw conclusions.

Interactive training in universities

The logical continuation of interactive learning is the methodology that should be used in universities. Unlike comprehensive schools, in universities, interactive forms and methods of training should take from 40 to 60% of the class. Often used such types and methods of interactive learning, such as brainstorming, role-playing games (business, simulation) and discussions. It is almost impossible to accurately classify interactive teaching methods, because they closely intertwine, complementing each other. During one lesson, students can engage in creative assignments in small groups, discuss issues with the entire audience, and offer individual solutions. The main task of the teacher is that students do not listen, do not teach, do not do, but understand.

If the introduction of interactive methods in schools and universities will be carried out systematically, the number of held, able to think, make responsible decisions of individuals will increase dramatically.
