- reproduction of hibiscus. Hibiscus propagates by cuttings. In an adult plant, the upper shoots are cut off, planted in a pot and covered with a jar. This procedure should be carried out in the summer, otherwise the stalk will not germinate.
Hibiscus is considered an adult plant at the age of 4 years. In the early years, a Chinese rose must be transplanted every spring, after 4 years - as necessary. Depending on the variety, hibiscus can reach 3 meters in height, which is a certain inconvenience when growing a flower in an apartment. The lifespan of the Chinese rose is about twenty years. The main pests of the Chinese rose are aphids and spider mites. And as a result of insufficient watering, buds and leaves may fall off in hibiscus. If the leaves of the Chinese rose wrinkled, this means that the room is dry air.
Hibiscus is famous for its medicinal properties. Due to the high content of vitamin P, this plant is added to various dishes and used in medical preparations. World-famous tea from hibiscus "Karkade" is considered curative, and helps strengthen the walls of blood vessels.
