It is not considered fertilizer itself, but it helps the representatives of the flora to better absorb all the nutrients from the soil and previously applied top dressing. In addition, the acid prevents excessive accumulation of nitrogenous substances (nitrates) by the plants, which, as is well known, are rather harmful in the overabundance.

It is known that the use of succinic acid for plants contributes not only to their growth, but also to strengthening and stability, especially to various unfavorable environmental factors, such as drought, waterlogging, frost. Moreover, the substance can be used as a kind of resuscitator in cases where your green pet has undergone stress, for example, when transplanting to a new location.

Strengthening plants, succinic acid helps increase the amount of chlorophyll, respectively, accelerates growth, stimulates color and fruit formation, and therefore improves yields. Moreover, succinic acid itself is not a toxic substance. On the contrary, it destroys toxins in the soil and prevents their accumulation.

So, as it was written above, succinic acid acts primarily as a good growth biostimulator. Moreover, the substance can be used both for soaking the inoculum and for watering the seedlings. Often succinic acid is used to spray leaves and shoots of plants.

Process plants with a solution of succinic acid, which is fairly easy to prepare at home. Small overdoses are not terrible to the inhabitants of window sills and beds, because they do not absorb the substance in a larger volume than they need.

The dosage of succinic acid for plants depends on the purposes for which the solution is applied. Most often, a weak 0.02% solution is used. To do this, first a strong 1% solution is created: 1 g of the substance must first be dissolved in a small amount of warm water, and then bring the volume of liquid to 1 liter. To create a 0.02% solution, we cast 200 ml of a 1% solution and top up the cold water, bringing the liquid to a volume of 1 liter. In some cases, a 0.002% solution of succinic acid may be needed, which is prepared by casting a strong solution of 200 g and adding cold water to a volume of 10 liters. Similarly, 0.004% solution is created: take 400 ml of 1% solution and dilute with water, bringing to a volume of 10 liters.

To soak seeds, a weak 0.004% solution is used. Seed material before planting is simply kept in solution for 12-24 hours.

For plant growth, it is recommended to spray with succinic acid in the morning or in the evening. For spraying, a 0.002% solution is applied before the buds mature on the shoots. Treatment of shoots and leaves is carried out every 2 weeks.

To stimulate the rooting of the cuttings can be placed in a 0.02% solution of succinic acid for 12-15 hours. The cuttings are bundled into bundles, and then immersed in a liquid 2-3 cm deep into the liquid.

In the event that your seedlings are characterized by a weak root system, it is recommended to place rootlets in a 0.02% solution. Soaking the roots should last 3-6 hours.

If your plants need resuscitation because of adverse effects, increased nitrogen content in the soil, they can be sprayed or poured with a solution that is prepared from 20 liters of water and 1 g of succinic acid.
