Bathroom - one of the most complex rooms in terms of design. And not even because there is always increased humidity, which means that the choice of finishing materials is limited. The main problem is the size of the bathroom, which in most cases is very small.
As a rule, the area of a standard bathroom in one of the apartments of a standard high-rise does not exceed 4 sq.m, and a separate bathroom can not boast of this. Is it possible in such circumstances to turn your bathroom into something beautiful and non-standard? It turns out, it is possible! To do this, first, carefully think over ways to increase the useful area of the bathroom, and secondly, to choose the appropriate finish to expand the room visually. Design a small bath with a shower

Design of a small combined bathroom

As for the sewer riser - a problem place in the combined bathrooms - it is either sewn into a dry plasterboard box or covered with a high wall cupboard. The second option is more functional, because such a cabinet can be filled with all the necessary detergents, while cumbersome suspended cabinets, as well as a cabinet under the sink, are no longer needed. In addition, the sewn-in riser is very inconvenient in terms of repair, because the cabinet can be moved much easier if necessary.

Recommendations for finishing materials for the bathroom are common for each of the three cases described:
- the ceiling is better to decorate in light colors to make it visually higher, ideally stretch ceilings are used;
- for the walls a tiling with a tile, in front of which the surface should be well leveled, is suitable. The design of tiles for a small bathroom should be calm, without large patterns;
- instead of facing the wall, you can also paint - choose for this light paint (turquoise, blue, light green or beige). And, of course, do not forget that the paint on the walls of the bathroom should be resistant to prolonged exposure to moisture;
- for a floor the best variant becomes a tile laid out on a diagonal. The tone of this tile should be slightly darker than the color of the walls - this will achieve the maximum effect of the height of the room.
