Compote of basil and lemon - a recipe for winter

Ingredients:

Preparation

From two varieties of washed basil we separate only the leaves. Washed under running water, cut the lemon longitudinally into two halves, and then each of them is pulverized into thin slices.

In the boiling water in a large saucepan, we lay out all the leaves of the freshly-colored basil and when it leaves about 5 minutes, we add the juicy lemon together with the sugar in the compote and continue to brew the drink for the same time. Then remove the container from the fire, cover it with a suitable lid and leave the compote stand for about 20 minutes. Now we filter our drink through a sterile cut of medical gauze into another clean pan. Again, turn on the plate's hotplate and bring the contents of this saucepan to the boil. Next, pour the ready, hot compote into a well-fried in the oven bottle, tightly seal the roasted lid.

As soon as it gives signs of boiling, enter here a fine white sugar and the right amount of citric acid. Continue to cook the compote for 5 minutes, and then refill the fruit in the pot.
