Care Labrador

If you have such joy as a small labrador, leaving and maintaining it will not give you much trouble. From the very beginning, learn the basic principles of its content and you will never have serious problems in caring for your four-legged friend.

Place in the house

Before you bring the animal home, prepare a place for it or an enclosure to make the dog feel comfortable. Place for your pet should be quiet, without drafts and away from heaters.

Walking

Care for a Labrador puppy involves frequent walks after sleep, eating, and over need. Walking with the puppy should not be long (at first, especially if it's cold outside). While the puppy is not 3 months old it is desirable that walks should not exceed 30-40 minutes. And after 3 months you can walk from 30 minutes to 1 hour

Feeding

A full-fledged Labrador diet includes fats, proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, trace elements, vitamins. Puppy up to 3 months. it is desirable to feed not with food, but with meat and dairy products, special canned food and porridges. Example of feeding a Labrador puppy (from one and a half to three months):

• 8:00 - canned food and cereal (Hercules, rice, buckwheat);
• 12:00 - cottage cheese and yogurt;
• 16:00 - canned food and cereal (add vitamins and bone meal);
• 19:00 - cottage cheese and yogurt (or porridge with canned goods);
• 22:00 - meat.

Wool

Care for Labrador hair is pretty simple. Labrador is not necessarily to be washed with shampoo, it should be carefully combed and bathed in clean water. To keep the wool cover in order, comb the dry hair with a massage brush. To give shine, use a rubber glove, and in the moulting period use a puff.

Teeth, ears, claws

Every week, inspect the mouth cavity of the puppy, ears, claws, etc. Approximately two times a month, the external ear is cleaned with a cloth soaked in vegetable oil. Puppies Labrador while a little walk, their claws do not have time to comb and grow too long. Trim the claws with special claws, avoiding damage to the inner claw tissue.
