Bob Marley House Museum

Bob Marley is a legendary musician, king of reggae and a man with an inimitable smile. As you know, the great creator was born and lived in sunny Jamaica , more precisely - the city of Kingston . Nowadays his house has turned into an amazing museum, in which Bob Marley's fans come from all over the world. We will tell you more about this unusual sightseeing in Jamaica.

Exterior and interior

A tour of Bob Marley's house museum in Jamaica begins with the first second. This amazing place is as bright and inimitable as the musician himself. The Bob Marley museum's fence is painted with his portraits, which mostly use the colors of the flag of Jamaica. The entrance to the landmark is a huge gate, above which is a colored arch with a portrait of Bob Marley.

Going through the gate, you will find yourself in a small, but lush garden with modest fountains and narrow neat alleys. It houses a sculpture of a musical legend with a guitar in hand.

The Bob Marley house museum is made in a colonial style. The Great Star lived in it until his death, and in 2001 this building became an object protected by the state. The house has preserved everything that Bob Marley loved so much. His layout remained untouched, but several rooms were added: a library with a life story of the singer, a small recording studio for the musician's children and a brand clothing store for Marly's daughter.

In the museum rooms you will see real rarities: Bob Marley's favorite guitar in the form of a star, his stage costumes, gold plates and discs, awards and clippings from magazines. In the house itself it is forbidden to take photos and videotape, but in the garden it is possible to do it.
