Belaite River


Belait is one of the four districts in the west of Brunei , along which the longest river of the country, 75 km long, flows - the Belait River. It originates from the southern hills, flows around the whole region and flows into the South China Sea. At its end, it crosses a variety of natural reserves and wildlife sanctuaries.

The river often hosts various competitions among motor boats, jet skis, etc., timed to an important event, for example, on the birthday of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, who respected everyone, who turned a small country into a fantastic place.

Yacht Club Kuala Belait

Not far from the mouth of the Belait River in the city of Kuala Belait is the eponymous yacht club at Jln Panglima, Kuala Belait, which is part of the Panaga club. This place is the center for many types of water transport, which attracts a huge number of tourists. So, the yacht club offers the following entertainment and services: diving, windsurfing, fishing, renting motor and sailing boats, kayaks, etc. It is also suggested to hold team competitions or various events.

The club building is a one-story building with a view of the Belait River. There is a children's playground with a small swimming pool on site. During the dinner on the terrace you can admire the magnificent sunsets.

If you go on a cruise on the river ("water taxi"), you will see a number of attractions of the city, as well as the diversity and uniqueness of the jungle. From the river in all splendor the Kampong Pandan Mosque mosque opens.
