The Ashikaga flower park is located on the island of Honshu in Japan in the homonymous city in the Topigi prefecture. Description of the park
The Japanese love flowers very much. Their favorite is wisteria. It grows in China, and in America, and in Australia, but only the Japanese could create such a miracle from it. They call the plant affectionately "Fuji". Wisteria is a liana. At a young age, the stems are soft, but with age they rust. This allows designers to create fabulous compositions in the park. For example, tunnels or tents. For this, metal frames are installed and the stems of wisteria are sent to them, and its beautiful multicolored brushes sway in the wind, spreading a fascinating aroma.
Tourists who are going to visit the Japanese park of flowers Ashikaga, you need to know that wisteria bloom from April to May and not all at once, but in turn. The first to bloom pink, then purple, the third bloom white, the last - yellow. Flowers represent a racemose inflorescence. The park of flowers of Ashikaga is closed on the first Wednesday and Thursday in February, and on December 31. In addition to these three days, he always works:
- from March to the end of November, the work time is from 9.00 to 18.00;
- from the end of November to February - from 10.00 to 17.00;
- winter lighting - from 15.30 to 21.00 from December to February.

From Tokyo, you can go by train from Ueno station to Tomita station in 2 hours. The park is 15 minutes walk from the station.
