Due to the fact that they can be taken even during meals, this does not affect its effect on the body. This drug is metabolized in the patient's liver and is excreted for a short time with urine and feces.
Medication Arthrosan in the form of tablets should be taken when:
- osteoarthrosis ;
- Bechterew's disease (ankylosing spondylitis);
- various severe inflammatory or degenerative pathologies, which are accompanied by severe pain;
- rheumatoid arthritis.
In some cases, they are used to treat osteochondrosis and myositis.

With osteoarthritis this drug is prescribed at 7.5 mg / day. In severe form, tablets Arthrosan take 15 mg per day. In the same dosage, this agent is used in ankylosing spondylitis. Because of the risk of serious side effects, the course of Arthrosan tablets is always calculated on an individual basis. In all patients with renal insufficiency (severe form) and in patients who are on hemodialysis, the total daily dose should not exceed 7.5 mg.
Do not use Arthrosan concurrently with diuretics, Cyclosporine, antihypertensive drugs and methotrexate. Serious side effects can be when taking this drug with aspirin and other NSAIDs (in some cases, even bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract).
