There are oceanariums in many cities of the world, including in Stockholm : there is an unusual water museum called Aquarium. It is located on the island of Djurgården and offers visitors to get acquainted with marine life and exotic nature.

The museum was opened in 1991 and quickly gained popularity among tourists, especially those who travel with children. An interesting fact is that 100,000 liters of sea water are pumped every hour here, which drains back and forms thresholds.
The Aquarium Museum has original exhibits:
- South American tropical wild forest. He is in the main hall. Here for visitors created atmospheric conditions identical to natural (air temperature is kept at + 25 ... + 30 ° C, and humidity is equal to 70-100%). To enhance the sensations, guests can see the sunset and meet the dawn in the jungle, hear the singing of birds and fall under the rain (it is suggested to hide in special huts), bask in the sun and go over the suspension bridge across the river, where exotic fish live: piranhas, cichlids, giant soma, aaron, rays, etc.

Features of visit
The Aquarium Water Museum in Stockholm has a small cafe where you can sample fresh pastries, light snacks and drink drinks. Still here is a souvenir shop, in which tourists buy presents, and a toilet.
The institution is open from 15 June until 31 August daily, from 10:00 to 18:00. At other times of the year the museum operates from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 16:30.
