The best grains in the world are much better than you think about them!
1. Paint your flowers in blue. Some flowering plants, such as hydrangeas, change color depending on the pH of the soil. Added to the soil, coffee will reduce the pH level and give a bright blue color to the buds.
2. Get rid of slugs. Unlike worms, slugs, snails and other beetles do not like the acidity of coffee and will never crawl abroad, delineated coffee.
3. Grow mushrooms. You can grow excellent mushrooms, using a little coffee and mushroom spores.
4. Increase your crop of carrots and radish. Mix coffee with carrot and radish seeds before planting, it will drive away pests and beetles, increase yield.
5. Plant worms. Worms, of course, are not the best pets, but they bring great benefits to your garden. They loosen the soil and fertilize it with the help of their own metabolic processes in the body. Worms like coffee, so sprinkle them with beds, and it will attract these useful creatures.
6. Improve the quality of fertilizers. Coffee will give much needed nitrogen to your compost. Just add it to the decomposing compost heap.
7. Scare off cats. Are you tired of neighbor cats who climb your flowers? Just put coffee and orange peel in places where you do not want them to go.
8. Refresh the vase with flowers. Add coffee to the ground vases with flowers, and it will look not only stylish and will allow the flowers to keep the freshness longer, but will also work as an air freshener.
9. Make homemade clay. It is edible (although probably not very tasty) and is great for playing with toy snakes and worms.
To do this you will need:
- 2 cups of flour
- ½ cup coffee grounds
- 1 tbsp. instant coffee (but it should not be black)
- 1 glass of salt
- 2 tsp. sauce tartar
- 1 glass of very hot water, but not boiling water
- 2 tablespoons oils
You also need to add a few drops of glycerin, but if you do not have any, you can cut off a small piece of glycerin soap.
First mix the dry ingredients, then add water and oils and mix. Leave the mixture for a short time so that it thickens and mix again.
10. Make a needle bed. Fill your bed with ground coffee, it will not give the needles to rust. Plus, it can serve as an aromatic sachet. Advice from a professional: make sure that the coffee is well dried. Put it on a baking sheet and place it in the freezer for one to two hours.
11. Make a trap for the cockroaches. You only need ground coffee and a double-sided adhesive tape.
- Spray the territory around the places where you want to get rid of the ants or spray the anthills themselves. It will also scare off snails and slugs.
- Fill a jar or mug on a 2.5 or 5 cm wet coffee grounds, then glue the top of the container with a very sticky double-sided tape. The aroma of coffee will entice the cockroaches into a trap.
12. Clean the frying pans. If you apply a small amount of ground coffee on a rag, you can scrape off the caked dirt. The only thing, this method is not suitable for cleaning ceramic and any other dishes that are easy to paint.
13. Get rid of the unpleasant odor after chopping garlic. Always keep a small container with ground coffee near or under the sink and rub it into your hands after chopping garlic, onion or any other strongly smelling products. Coffee will absorb an unpleasant smell.
14. Clean the drain. With coffee grounds, boiling water and a small amount of soap, you can clean the gutters in the kitchen and bathroom. Pour the used coffee grounds into the drain of the sink or bath, add 3 drops of soap and a glass of boiling water. This mixture will perfectly lubricate the drain and clean it from blockages.
15. Eliminate the unpleasant odor in the refrigerator and freezer. Instead of baking soda, use a box with coffee grounds, which will absorb all the smells in your refrigerator.
16. Hide the scratches on the furniture. Use oil and ground or instant coffee to mask the scratches on the wood of dark shades.
17. Cook the tender meat. Use coffee as a spice for meat, it will give it the softness and aroma of the fire.
18. Prepare an energy snack without baking. You will need:
- 1 glass of dry whole oatmeal
- 1/2 cup flaxseeds

22. Create your own fossils. You do not need to wait for millions of years to wait until the shells are petrified. Make your own fossils with coffee and flour (ideal for recreating dinosaur tracks).
You will need:
- 1 cup of used coffee grounds
- ½ cup of water
- 1 cup of flour
- ½ cup of salt
Mix the ingredients and roll the dough. Use the biscuit molds to separate the dough and shape it. You can make a hole for the ribbon or thread and hang it to dry the dough. As soon as the dough dries, you can decorate it to your liking.

Recipe:
- 2 tablespoons freshly ground coffee (the smaller, the better)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons whole milk, thick cream or yogurt
- 1 tbsp. honey
Mix all the ingredients well. Apply mask on face in the morning and leave for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse the mask with water with gentle massage movements. That's all.
30. Sprinkle the coffee path in front of the house. Ground coffee, added to the sand, it is good to sprinkle sidewalks and roads when slippery, and its acid helps to heat the ice faster.
