Woljeongsa


The Woljeongsa Temple is considered one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in Korea , as well as the main attraction of the mountain park of Odesan . This was preceded by large fires that swept the buildings in the 1950s, during the last Korean War. Unfortunately, then many relics were lost.

Now in the museum there are 206 exhibits, the most famous of which is the ancient bell - its cast in bronze in 725. Previously, he was in Sangwonce, a small monastery, located 8 km from Wolzjonsa even higher in the mountains. Due to its inaccessible location, it was not destroyed during wars and did not suffer from fires like Woljozsa.
