This man is the only one in the world who creates such beauty!

Meet! This is a Japanese sculptor, woodcarver Mori Kono and his team MK carving & sculpting. They, like no other, know how to breathe new life into felled tree trunks (cedar, alder and birch).

Thanks to the love of the beautiful and golden hands, they create impressive sculptures of the inhabitants of the forest. Moreover, the animals look incredibly realistic.

A series of their marvelous sculptures includes owls, chipmunks, raccoons, rabbits, wolves, bears and many other fascinating fauna. Kono works with a variety of power tools and usually uses a small hand chisel for small parts, such as elaborate carved fur and feathers, or thin points around the eyes of animals. After cutting, the artist paints his animals, which allows them to stand out against the background of pale-colored logs.

Mori Kono tries not only to cut out individual sculptures, but to depict them in action. His wooden animals creep out of forest trees or hang on wooden logs.

The wood carver creates this beauty according to individual orders. At the same time, he has so many customers that Kono does not have days off.

Just look at this wooden squirrel! What can I say, but it looks very, very realistic.

And how do you this bear-bear? And I want to hug him.

By the way, here is a photo of the Japanese carver's step-by-step work on wood.
