Thermal spa Terme 3000 in Slovenia is known for its natural features, the most notable of which is "black thermal water". It has unique healing properties, which made Terme 3000 popular. The resort itself boasts a modern infrastructure that provides a comfortable and varied rest.
Climate and geography
The climate in the region is moderately continental. The hottest month is July, the temperature rises to + 26 ° C. From May to September, the temperature is kept at +18 - +22 ° С. Therefore, this is the best time to relax at the resort. The coldest month of the year is January, the average temperature is 1 ° C.

General information
In 1960, the search for oil began on the site of the hospital. "Black gold" was never found, but four sources with free and connected carbon dioxide were opened instead. The study showed that water has medicinal properties. Soon after the opening, the resort was marked by the medical committee of the republic, after which it began to develop actively. The resort is constantly being modernized, increasing the range of services and living conditions. Today Terme 3000 is a medical and tourist center of Slovenia.
Rest and treatment
The therapeutic method of the resort is based on the use of thermal water. It is used in the treatment and rehabilitation of many diseases:
- rheumatic diseases;
- diseases of the musculoskeletal system;
- rehabilitation after trauma.
The thermal complex was built relatively recently, in 2000. Its area is 5 000 km ², it accommodates a lot of various entertainments, among them:

- playground for tennis, volleyball, football, badminton and handball.
In particular, the attention of tourists is attracted by pools with thermomineral water. The water temperature in them reaches 34-45 ° С. At the source, the temperature is higher by 18-25 ° C.

At a level with a unique source, the thermal spa is proud of the water park, which operates all year round. Pools are filled with healing "black water", so vacationers go here not only for entertainment, but also for sanitation.

How to get there?
You can get to the resort by buses that run along the highway 442. The motorway connects several large cities: Murska Sobota , Martyanchi, Tesanovci and so on. In 100 m from the resort of Terme 3000 there is a stop "Moravske Toplice", on which you should leave.
