Tent trellis

With the development of such a branch of agriculture as viticulture, the methods of cultivation of fragrant wine berries are constantly being improved. Increasingly large farms are switching to the use of a tent trellis NP. Budyaka, developed and tested in 1992. Let's find out its design features and advantages over other types of supports for vines.

Types of trellis vine

Most often in medium and large scales for the cultivation of the vine harvest use such trellises:

Different types of trellis for grapes provide for different sizes. In general, the height varies from a meter to four, depending on the variety and bush growth. As a rule, a hipped trellis has a height of 2 meters. Due to the compact location of bushes on one square kilometer, you can plant more plants.

Compared with all available varieties, the hip trellis maximizes the ability of grapes to use the sun's rays to ripen the fruit and form the vine. Surprisingly, unlike traditional methods of fastening vine bushes, such a trellis provides not longitudinal, but transverse placement of them with respect to the construction.

Guide rails at the trellis are located on several levels - the bottom is the shortest, and the top is the longest. Thanks to the formation of the dome, work on pinching, gartering, collecting fruits and processing bushes are carried out at times simpler and more convenient, which saves time for caring for grapes and get a bigger harvest.

The tent trellis uses the natural aspiration of the vine to reach the sun, not limiting its growth. In the hot summer months, it is possible to install a canopy to protect the crop from scorching rays.
